“Anne has gone beyond friend or family, partner or sibling. Warrior Angel might do it…though even that doesn’t quite get it.” -H.H.
Anne Keeton is fiercely committed to anyone whose had their heart broken be it recent or long ago. Anne is driven to teach people HOW to feel better NOW. Without spending a ton of money or time, Anne’s clients immediately begin to feel relief from their grief by learning how to end their suffering, fear, and hopelessness.
Blessed with “an incredible and rare ability to hold pain,” Anne innately understands grief – and is not afraid of it. Long before she earned her official international certifications, Anne proved herself to be a talented leader, achiever and motivator. A solid foundation for Anne’s work began with her studies of sociology and philosophy – ideal groundwork for discovering what makes people tick. And she went far beyond academics by taking on what might well be considered some of the toughest coaching challenges of all: helping prison inmates reform and rebuild their lives.
It was only natural for her to begin helping people living in pain to make the most of their lives in dramatic and exciting ways.
Anne’s personal grief recovery work led her to The Grief Recovery Method Outreach Program®. No stranger to grief herself, Anne lost her best friend, her job, and her beloved pet within eight short weeks. She understands the feelings of sadness, longing, hurt and angst. She also understands the paradox that feeling bad feels bad…and feeling better can also feel bad. And in her recovery journey, she has transformed the hopelessness into joyful, hopeful optimism – feelings that had seemed unattainable. Anne is determined to share this transformation from grief to relief with the world.
For over thirty years, the proven Grief Recovery Method® has helped thousands of people worldwide recover from grief. Powerful & dynamic, Grief Recovery is not a support group or a drop-in program but is an experiential, action-based program that moves people beyond their loss. People say to “let go” and move on, but they don’t tell you how. Anne teaches you how to feel better now.
